Ibtissam offers group classes and private instruction. She is a strong believer in the health benefits of bellydancing and her classes place equal emphasis on having fun, getting fit, and learning the intricacies of the ancient art of bellydance. In addition to teaching the basics of belly dance steps and movements, she helps her students gain an understanding of Middle Eastern music, rhythms, costuming, culture, and philosophy.
Unlike other popular dance forms, belly dance is based on movements that come naturally to the female form, so it works within the body’s physical inclinations. Through belly dancing, women of all ages and body types not only increase their physical fitness in a fun manner, but gain a healthy sense of positive self that manifests itself in their dance and their personal lives.
Ibtissam is available to organize private group classes amongst friends, family, or colleagues who wish to learn about bellydance together in private locations and at times convenient to them.
